Your files and permission

You retain ownership of your files. You may use Mad Cat only with content you own or are authorized to copy, store and transfer. Chat exports may contain another person’s information; you are responsible for handling it lawfully and respectfully.

What the app does

Mad Cat is a local file organization and transfer utility. Its iPhone and iPad Share Extension receives only the items you select. It may organize files, create a ZIP and hand items to Apple’s sharing or document-provider interfaces.

What the app does not do

Mad Cat does not bypass iOS security, decrypt WhatsApp databases, secretly control WhatsApp, guarantee Share Sheet position, or promise that every WhatsApp chat can be exported in one action. WhatsApp and iOS control their own export limits and interfaces.

Safe use

Do not use Mad Cat to infringe copyright, violate privacy, evade access controls, distribute unlawful material or interfere with a device or service. Keep an independent backup before deleting originals. You control each final transfer destination.

Availability and warranties

The app is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. File formats, provider availability and third-party app behavior can change. Mad Cat does not guarantee compatibility with every export or destination and is not responsible for third-party services.

Changes and termination

Features and these terms may change for security, legal or compatibility reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and delete the app and its locally stored data.
